SecuritySpy releases 2.1 update to Mac platform surveillance software

SecuritySpy, a multi-camera video surveillance software solution for the Mac platform recently released SecuritySpy 2.1, an update to their previous software version. SecuritySpy comes with features that include motion detection, real-time compression of multiple video and audio feeds, remote monitoring, and more.

SecuritySpy software offers support for a wide range of IP camera models from industry leading manufacturers such as Axis, Sony, and Vivotek, as well as FireWire, USB, and PCI video input devices. With a built-in web server software operators can view live video and audio or previously captured footage remotely over the Internet from a standard web browser or compatible mobile device.

The new 2.1 release includes updated features such as Mac OS X 10.7 Lion compatibility, faster network performance, and support for new IP camera models.
