No holes in security for French Cheese Museum with ACti megapixel surveillance

Published by Amelia on July 21, 2009 4:50 PM

All bases are covered for the French Cheese Museum when they implemented their video security system using ACTi megapixel surveillance. Security officials started to feel the need for a security system as the crime rate started to rise. They needed video surveillance that would be powerful and robust enough to withstand use in this frequently visited museum.

Six megapixel dome ACM-7411 cameras were positioned at high priority areas throughout the museum. Coverage areas include the exhibition hall, the garden that has games for children visiting the museum, the cafeteria, and the gift shop. ACTi provided a system that could withstand use indoors and outdoors at all times of the day.

The megapixel dome cameras have day and night function and are vandal proof, so they still function when and where they need to. When combined with software that provides access control, the ACTi system is reliable and secure.
