Lumenera shows off Li165 and Li175 megapixel IP cameras at ISC West
At the ISC West conference, held this week in Las Vegas, Lumenera Corporation introduced two new intelligent megapixel cameras. The Lumenera Li165 and Li175 are built with features meant to catch and prevent criminal activity as it happens, rather than simply providing footage for investigative purposes.
The Lumenera Li165 is designed for video surveillance applications involving low-light situations as well as fast motion. Using MJPEG/H.264 compression, the camera streams high-quality 1.4 megapixel video at up to 15 frames per second.
The Lumenera Li175 IP offers 1.3 megapixel resolution along with video analytics which help to automate video surveillance operation. Images are delivered at frame rates up to 21 fps, and special anti-blooming features allow for high-quality video in situations with intense glare, from vehicle headlamps or bright sunlight for instance.
The new Lumenera megapixel IP cameras operate using Power over Ethernet, and feature advanced dc-iris control. Depending on the level of sophisticated functionality required for a particular application, users can choose between three levels of ObjectVideo Onboard analytics.
