ACTi monitors Japanese pharmacies

Published by Margeaux on February 14, 2011 8:59 AM

A chain of pharmacies in Japan has implemented an IP surveillance system to secure its premises. Each location features 16 ACTi ACM-5611 megapixel day/night cameras to help deter and document shoplifting and employee theft.

The 1.3 megapixel ACM-5611 is a powerful tool in loss prevention thanks to crisp, clean images with 1280x1024 resolution at 8 fps. IP surveillance enables remote viewing of all pharmacies from one location, making it an efficient and economical solution.

For customizable surveillance, the ACM-5611 offers automatic and manual control of shutter speed, white balance and exposure. An excellent solution for retail applications, this camera has an integrated motion sensor as well as the ability to trigger an alarm in a security event.
