GE Security releases new and improved CyberDome II IP camera line

Published by Dan on September 16, 2008 4:06 PM

GE Security has unveiled the latest version of its CyberDome II camera line. The GE CyberDome II PTZ is designed to be a cost-effective solution for continuous video surveillance in locations such as schools, airports, stadiums, and retail outlets. Enhancements to the GE CyberDome IP camera include more options for different types of lighting conditions, improved indoor and outdoor housings, and expanded third-party compatibility.

The CyberDome II PTZ now comes in five different camera modules ranging from 18x to 36x optical zoom with day/night and Wide Dynamic Range functionality. This makes the camera ideal for 24-hour monitoring in difficult lighting conditions. The new indoor and outdoor housings include alarms and relays for wiring with nearby sensors, and can withstand below-freezing temperatures with the optional heater. And with its expanded interoperability, the CyberDome II can work with multiple vendor systems, and is easy to install into existing infrastructures.
