Axis adds M3011, M3014 and P1311 to network camera family in banner day of releases
Axis announced the release of three new cameras today - the P1311, M3011 and M3014 - all representing new advances in technology and announcing the direction of IP cameras in the future.
The Axis P1311 is a network camera designed for public, indoor use. Housed inside a sturdy (and visible) casing is an IP camera equipped for environments where tough security and flexibility are a prerequisite - environments such as schools, banks, retail stores and offices. The P1311 is equipped with advanced intelligent detection features that can determine when the camera is being tampered with or moved - or when interesting or suspicious people enter the camera's field of vision.
The M3011 and M3014, both fixed dome network cameras, are subtle, low-profile recording solutions that are both advanced and easy to install. At just over an inch thick, the M3011 and M3014 are unobtrusive network cameras that provide high quality imaging of an area with progressive scan technology - leaving the footage distortion-free.
The P1311, M3011 and M3014 also boast powefully customizable recording interfaces - allowing users to reduce the drag felt on the network by choosing from a wide variety of streaming and recording formats (including H.264, MPEG-4 and M-JPEG).
Axis has announced that the P1311, M3011 and M3014 will be available for purchase in Q4 of 2008. Check back for more from videosurveillance.com
