Sony SNC-RZ50N PTZ Network Camera

 

The SNC-RZ50N is the most advanced surveillance recording technology available from Sony. For large spaces and critical operations in which there is no room for error, this camera is ideal. The SNC-RZ50N contains a dual 26x optical and 12x digital zoom for capturing clear images of small, distant objects in shopping malls, airports and other areas that might be difficult to screen with the average video camera.

The SNC-RZ50N captures up to 30 frames per second in both MPEG-4 and JPEG recording modes for the clearest moving images possible; individual users may set the frame rate to meet their own system and network requirements. This camera also boasts a pan range of 340 degrees and a tilt range of 115 degrees for maximum visibility, even in dark conditions down to .3 Lux. With the purchase of an optional IR illuminator, the SNC-RZ50N can record even at 0 Lux (complete darkness to the human eye).

The SNC-RZ50N is equipped with intelligent motion detection, and you may program the camera to initiate a variety of actions: storing or transferring images and videos, triggering an external device or alarm and performing a motion analysis, all of which can help reduce false alarms. This surveillance camera also detects objects that have been left in one place for a preordained period of time, with the capability to monitor up to four detection areas-- a useful feature for identifying suspicious objects left in public spaces such as shopping malls and airports, or for detecting a stalled car or accident on the highway.

Streaming JPEG or MPEG-4 videos may be viewed on concurrently to give you greater monitoring freedom. If you like, you may also configure your camera to save JPEG and MPEG-4 files simultaneously so that you can transfer smaller MPEG-4 files over a WAN or VPN and store higher resolution JPEG footage on a server.
