To avoid false triggers, the SNC-RX550N comes standard with intelligent motion detection. When the camera observes motion, you may program it to record footage, transfer images or trigger an alarm, door lock or light system. If you plan to use your camera as a highway camera or in a location where an abandoned object is a security hazard, an intelligent object detection feature helps you identify objects that have been discarded for a certain period of time or notify authorities of abandoned vehicles and car accidents.
The SNC-RX550N supports JPEG, MPEG-4 and H.264 compression files so that you can choose the best option for your network. Use MPEG-4 for your streaming videos if you operate on a low-bandwidth network, while simultaneously storing JPEG videos on your server; H.264 videos will be available for Internet viewing with a software upgrade.
