The SNC-DF50N is designed specifically for high-contrast environments, since it shoots two images at a normal and a fast shutter speed, combining the two images so that both the dark areas and the light areas in backlit scenes are clear; with a regular surveillance camera, one section of the image would be nearly invisible from over or underexposure. This camera even detects moving objects so that still images are less blurred than with a regular camera.
Intelligent video analytics provide an excellent solution to annoying false alarms, since you can set rules and filters to specify what objects should be recorded and how long an object can safely remain stationary before the camera should trigger an alarm; the technology is equally effective in detecting different types of motion. Plus, this method also minimizes bandwidth use and storage requirements so that only pertinent footage is recorded onto your server or hard drive.
