The MOBOTIX M12D-Sec megapixel network camera is a sophisticated surveillance solution that includes one telephoto lens and a super-wide-angle lens for simultaneous recording from multiple perspectives. The camera is also weatherproof, making it suitable for demanding outdoor surveillance locations.
The camera's megapixel resolution provides a broad overview that enables the camera to monitor larger areas than a traditional security camera. The M12D features a progressive-scan megapixel image sensor that delivers clear and sharp color images in a wide range of lighting conditions, including low light. Digital white balance and auto-iris ensure optimal exposure control, even in outdoor settings with high levels of contrast.
Another unique feature of the MOBOTIX M12D-Sec is its sophisticated audio functionality. The camera features a speaker and microphone for two-way audio, while also supporting VoIP and IP/ISDN Telephony.
The camera operates using Power over Ethernet, which saves installation costs and adds flexibility by eliminating the need for complicated cabling. Power to the camera and all data communications are conducted via a single Ethernet cable.
