Like other 700 series cameras, the IQinVision IQeye711 comes with megapixel resolution and power over Ethernet. Along with its 1.3 megapixel resolution and 0.1 Lux minimum illumination, it is the only 700-series camera that accepts wide telephoto and wide varifocal lenses. These lenses work well for monitoring large spaces, and is ideal for mall surveillance, convention center security, concert halls, auditoriums and other large public spaces that might be at risk. Plus, if you're watching footage online and wish to use the camera's digital pan, tilt or zoom to zero in on a smaller area, the camera will continue recording footage of the entire surveillance space. And if you've got an existing security system in place, this camera comes with a Public View Port that lets you hook up CCTV cameras to your new surveillance camera(s).

To help you create a complete security system, the IQinVision IQeye711 comes with alarm I/O ports and a built-in motion sensor that lets you define multiple motion detection parameters. Set up custom recording and motion detection schedules, which you may use to determine motion detection times; then, hook up your external alarm so that the motion sensor will trigger it in the event of a security breach. And if you're concerned about protecting certain sensitive areas in your online broadcast, privacy zones allow you to obscure parts of your scene from public view.
