Since your camera connects to the Internet wirelessly, you can put it almost anywhere in your home or workplace. With any ActiveX or Java-enabled Web browser, you may view a live feed of your footage from any computer, anywhere in the world, as well as edit your camera's recording schedule and settings.
Sophisticated management software and management options
With included D-Link surveillance software, you may also manage and monitor four DCS-950 cameras concurrently. Set your camera to record whenever it detects motion or set a recording schedule. Plus, the DCS-G900 conforms to Universal Plug & Play standards so that any computer running Windows XP will recognize your camera and add it to the network (in My Network Places).
If you plan on accessing your camera via the Internet often, you may assign a domain name that's more memorable than your IP address with one of a number of Dynamic DNS online services. For simplicity in a home or small office surveillance system, the DCS-G900 offers a cost-effective solution in a compact package.
