D-Link DCS-950G Wireless Internet Camera
Enjoy flexible remote management with the D-Link DCS-950G
Like other D-Link cameras, the DCS-950G may be controlled from any computer with Internet Explorer 6 or higher. Watch and listen to your footage, then take still shots or recordings from the Web onto a local hard drive without installing any extra software. If you don't want to designate a computer specifically for storing footage, you may hook up a network-attached storage (NAS) unit to which your camera can record directly. When you're working from a remote location, you can sign up for a free Dynamic DNS service and create a memorable domain name for your camera instead of using your IP address. All D-Link cameras come with software to help you program your camera and monitor your footage.
Wireless connectivity increases camera placement options
Wireless connectivity expands the range of places where you can place your camera, although you can connect your camera to a computer using an Ethernet cable, as well. And if you plan to use your surveillance system as a night guard, the DCS-950G boasts a .5 Lux light sensitivity rate for night recording indoors.
