D-Link DCS-5300G Wireless Network Camera

Watch and listen with this flexible IP camera

Wireless connectivity, camera control via the Internet and audio capability are three notable characteristics of this superb surveillance camera, which connects to your network using 802.11g wireless technology (or Ethernet, if you prefer). The DCS-5300G differs from the 5300 because it adheres to Universal Plug & Play standards (UPnP) that allows Windows Me or Windows XP computers to automatically recognize the camera and add it to your network.

Pan/tilt/zoom offer a wider range of visibility

With Internet Explorer 6, you may watch and listen to your surveillance footage from anywhere in the world. It's even possible to control your pan, tilt and zoom functions from your Web interface. The security camera pans 270 degrees horizontally and tilts up to 90 degrees vertically, and you may adjust the speed to your liking. A 4X digital zoom helps you close in on suspicious individuals or other important details, and a CCD sensor provides crisp, clear video footage with lifelike colors.

Sophisticated software

D-Link software comes included with this camera, which allows you to record MPEG4 videos to your hard drive and play the videos, set up an automatic recording function to begin when the camera detects motion and monitor up to 16 cameras at once. When you need a security camera that's effective and affordable, the DCS-5300G provides stellar image quality without the astronomical price.
