Brilliant, DVD Quality Footage
With it's 1/3" CCD sensor, the NWD-0455 provides some of the clearest, highest quality footage available. The NWD-0455 and other Bosch FlexiDome IP cameras can also produce multiple streams of video (of varying quality) at once for total flexibility - users can elect to stream a high quality feed over the internet (for remote viewers) and record a stream of a lesser quality. This flexibility and absolute choice gives operators and users options that aren't available on any other type of network camera system. Also included on the NWD-0455 is Bosch's trademarked NightSense™, a feature which automatically determines a room's lighting conditions, switching the camera to low-light or infrared recording if necessary. The NWD-0455's automatic adjustments make it a snap to operate - no need to remember to manually switch recording modes or worry about effective night recording.
Efficient and Intelligent
One of the most pressing concerns with IP video is bandwidth management - systems administraotrs and security personnel often clash over solutions due to suffering bandwidth, but the Bosch's bandwidth throttling feature keeps an eye out on the NWD-0455's bandwidth consumption to combat any potential network problems. The NWD-0455 also comes equipped with several "intelligent" features that can alert operators to problems as they occur, including a special set of "tamper" alerts that can notify users of any potential signs of tampering (obscuring the camera, defocusing, diverted camera, etc).
