Axis 211 Indoor/Outdoor IP Network Camera
The Axis 211 Network Camera is built for both indoor and outdoor video surveillance situations. The camera uses progressive scan to provide outstanding image quality, while its Varifocal DC-iris lens captures properly exposed video even in difficult outdoor light conditions. Along with crisp and clear video footage, the Axis 211 offers IP surveillance advantages such as remote video monitoring, motion detection, event management, and Power over Ethernet (PoE). This is an excellent IP camera for office buildings, retail shops, schools and many other types of facilities.
Power over Ethernet
With built-in PoE support, the Axis 211 can receive power through a network Ethernet cable. That means lower installation costs and no complicated wiring. PoE also allows users to strengthen security with a centrally located power source. Another advantage of PoE – the Axis 211 can be set up to operate even during a power outage.
Motion JPEG and MPEG-4
The Axis 211 optimizes image quality and bandwidth by delivering simultaneous Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 video streams. For situations where high frame rates are required but bandwidth is restricted, MPEG-4 compression is the ideal setting.
