Megapixel Resolution
The Axis 209MFD features 1.3 megapixel sensor that provides exceptional image detail. Megapixel technology is ideal for surveillance situations where individual faces and objects must be identified, for instance in banks, or at retail checkout areas. Along with greater image detail, megapixel cameras also provide broader area coverage. In many cases, a single megapixel camera can do the work of three traditional security cameras.
Non-Invasive, Discreet Design
The flat design of the Axis 209MFD makes it an excellent solution for non-invasive surveillance in indoor locations. The camera is a flat, fixed dome that can be mounted on the ceiling or wall, offering flexible installation with horizontal camera adjustment and lens tilt.
Power over Ethernet
Power to the camera and digital video feeds travel across a single Ethernet cable. This eliminates the need for excessive cabling and power outlets, offering greater flexibility while lowering installation costs.
