Arecont Vision AV2100 2 Megapixel IP Network Camera
Thanks to a 2 megapixel CMOS image sensor, the Arecont Vision A2100 IP camera delivers clear and detailed video images with a resolution 6 times that of most analog security cameras. The camera connects to your local area network and offers remote video monitoring from any PC with an Internet connection. IP-based surveillance systems offer scalability, as additional cameras can be added to the network at any time.
The AV2100 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) which adds flexibility and saves installation costs. With PoE, there's no need for complicated wiring because power to the camera and video streams are sent across a single Ethernet cable.
With megapixel resolution, the Arecont Vision AV2100 not only captures vivid details, it also covers wider areas than a conventional camera. In fact, the megapixel AV2100 network camera can monitor areas that would normally require multiple analog cameras. The high resolution allows for high-resolution archives and simultaneous, picture-in-picture viewing of zoomed images along with the full 1600x1200 field of view. The camera also performs consistently in a variety of lighting conditions, with low-light sensitivity down to 0.1 lux.
