Plus, power over Ethernet capability means that you can provide electricity AND Internet connectivity to your camera with nothing more than an Ethernet cable for greater freedom of placement.
Two-way audio capability provides a way for you to not only watch and listen to the events at your surveillance site; it means you can respond, issue instructions and warnings or delegate responsibility from afar! If you're concerned about burdening your network, the ACTi ACM-5711 supports multi-streaming with variable frame rates (number of frames per second) to optimize available bandwidth depending on the viewer; choose between smaller MPEG-4 files and higher-quality JPEG files for your streaming and recorded footage.
