From its 1/3-inch Sony SuperHAD CCD sensor to backlight compensation, a wide array of features make the ACTi ACM-3311 suitable for a wide variety of indoor, 24-hour surveillance applications. Not only does its IR cut filter make it possible to record usable footage in total darkness, or 0 Lux, the dome design provides a much wider range of movement than a box camera, with a 170-degree pan and 90-degree tilt. Plagued by high contrast lighting? To assist with lighting challenges, the camera's backlight compensation feature helps alleviate issues of visibility in high contrast areas; automatic white balance and gain controls assist, as well.
