Using onboard recording to your advantage

Published by Margeaux on February 3, 2012 3:14 PM

Many security cameras are capable of onboard IP video recording and storage with a built in Micro SD/SDHC card slot.

Recording redundant video to an NVR and a Micro SD/SDHC card is a good precaution against data loss in the in the event of a power outage or network fail. Onboard recording can also be used as a primary recording and storage method, particularly in situations with only occasional recording.

We offer several Axis security cameras and Vivotek security cameras with a built in Micro SD/SDHC card slot.
