Published by Margeaux on April 4, 2011 8:32 AM

Nestled in the Appalachian mountains of northwest Pennsylvania is Clarion University. Here, a system of vandal-proof Panasonic WV-NW502SIP cameras managed by Panasonic's WJ-ND400 network video recorder monitors campus to help keep students and faculty safe.

Panasonic megapixel cameras are renowned for their lowlight sensitivity. The WV-NW502S is no exception. This 3-megapixel camera features Mega Super Dynamic and Adaptive Black Stretch. Together, these technologies enhance images in difficult lighting situations such as backlighting and harsh contrast. This camera produces images with details even in the shadows.

The camera’s exceptional low light performance and automatic night mode enables makes it a great choice for Clarion and other applications requiring 24-7 surveillance. Selected for their dependability, Panasonic cameras are reputed to be especially durable and easy to install.

The WJ-ND400 NVR offers 64 channels and plug and play ease of use, making it easy for Clarion to add cameras as campus security needs expand.
