Vivotek introduces day/night FD7132 network camera

Vivotek has released a new fixed-dome network camera designed to provide 24-hour indoor surveillance. The Vivotek FD7132 IP camera offers day/night functionality with a removable IR-cut filter and infrared illuminators for dark conditions. It also boasts a unique 3-axis mechanism that allows for flexible installation on ceilings and walls in locations such as banks, commercial complexes, and office buildings.

Other highlights of the Vivotek FD7132 network camera include a vari-focal lens with auto-iris, two-way audio, Power over Ethernet, and support for simultaneous dual video streams. A PIR (passive infrared) sensor is built into the camera to accurately detect motion while limiting false alarms. The Vivotek FD7132 also supports 3GPP mobile surveillance, which allows users to monitor the camera remotely on cell phones and other portable devices.
