Vivotek has announced a new, high-performance speed dome network camera that's loaded with features. The Vivotek SD7313 is designed for wide-area surveillance in outdoor locations. It comes equipped with 35x optical zoom, wide dynamic range, day/night functionality, fast and accurate PTZ control, and a weather-proof IP66-rated housing.

Because of its powerful zoom capabilities, the SD7313 allows users to view distant objects with clear and precise detail. For further monitoring flexibility, the camera offers remote pan/tilt/zoom control, including continuous 360-degree panning with auto-flip technology. To overcome the challenges of difficult lighting condition, the SD7313 provides a Wide Dynamic Range Function. This ensures proper exposure even in high-contrast setting and unpredictable outdoor environments.
Other attributes of the Vivotek SD7313 include an SD/SDHC card slot for temporary on-board recording, and an Electronic Image Stabilizer that prevents vibrations from wind and camera rotation from affecting performance. For continuous surveillance even in dark conditions, the camera incorporates a removable IR cut filter. It also supports two-way audio and 3GPP mobile surveillance.
