Vivotek releases iViewer app for iPhones and iPads

Good news for those using Vivotek IP cameras; now you can turn your iPhone or iPad into a remote monitoring station. iViewer allows users to view live video feeds from anywhere within a 3G network with a compatible touch screen device.

The app provides powerful management tools, enabling users to control PTZ functions and grab video frames with a touch of the screen. It can playback and search archived video as well as fast forward and rewind. Users can select a preferred layout and specify a “favorites” list of frequently accessed cameras to customize iViewer to their needs.

The advent of remote surveillance from handheld devices makes managing IP cameras easy and convenient. It's a great way to monitor your home or business from afar.
