VideoIQ heads to IFSEC with new iCVR intelligent surveillance solutions in tow
VideoIQ is set to show off its line of iCVR intelligent surveillance products at next week's IFSEC security conference. The iCVR series of cameras, encoders and video management software aims to create surveillance solutions that offer the option of zero bandwidth recording, while providing adaptive video analytics. At IFSEC, special attention will be paid to the VideoIQ iCVR-MP megapixel network camera, the iCVR video encoder, and the VideoIQ View video management system.
These products look to provide proactive surveillance, a high level of network efficiency, easy installation, and open VMS integration. Using adaptive analytics, the system is able to uniquely identify people and moving vehicles from objects, animals and scene movement. This means more accurate, real-time threat detection, and fewer false alarms. To increase network efficiency, each VideoIQ iCVR camera comes equipped with an onboard NVR for on-camera recording, something that's particularly beneficial for surveillance applications with bandwidth constraints, or those in hard-to-reach locations.
