TRENDnet reveals new IP video management software solutions
This week, TRENDnet announced the launch of two new enterprise-class IP camera software suites: TRENDnet VortexIP Lite, and TRENDnet VortexIP Pro. Both video management solutions are advanced, server-based software suites that support small, medium, and large surveillance applications.
TRENDnet VortexIP Lite offers centralized monitoring capabilities for local and remote network cameras. The software is Windows-based with a multi-language interface and layered administrative access. Users can manage motion detection, recording schedules, and program cameras to record based on specific events. Other features include programmable email alerts, advanced viewing layouts, hard drive video storage, and remote camera control.
TRENDnet VortexIP Pro id designed for larger surveillance applications and allows users to use one central surveillance node to manage video security systems in multiple facilities. This gives users access to IP cameras across an entire enterprise, while system administrators can map network cameras onto a facility plan using the program's Electronic Map Tool.
Both software suites support TRENDnet IP cameras as well as products from other brands.
