Trendnet introduces TV-IP512WN Wireless-N security camera
Trendnet is set to release a new wireless network camera that supports the speedy Wireless-N standard. The Trendnet TV-IP512WN is a network camera with a built-in Wireless-N internet camera server. This allows users to access and control the camera remotely over the internet without any additional equipment.
The TV-IP512WN supports throughput speeds of up to 300Mbps, and offers four times the coverage of Wireless-G products. Adding the camera to your network is incredibly easy with Wi-Fi Protected Setup. Key features of the Trendnet TV-IP512WN include two-way audio support, a built-in SD card slot, and input/output ports for easy integration with third-party alarm systems.
The camera comes bundled with free software for managing up to 32 Trendnet cameras. The software offers advanced motion detection, event-driven email alerts, scheduled recording, and MPEG-4 and MJPEG compression.
Trendnet plans to make the TV-IP512WN available in May with a price tag of around $250.
