Milestone Systems announced earlier this week that its XProtect IP video management platform now supports StarDot's line of NetCam SC megapixel IP cameras. Milestone's integration with StarDot high definition cameras gives users the ability to capture and analyze surveillance footage that's significantly more detailed than the footage provided by standard surveillance cameras. The combination creates a surveillance solution that's especially useful for capturing clear video images of faces, license plates, monetary transactions, and other situations where small details are crucial.
This week, StarDot and ExacqVision announced a partnership that provides interoperability between StarDot's NetCam SC cameras and ExacqVision's video management system (VMS). Specifically, the system supports the Video Image Engine processor located in the NetCam SC cameras.
