Sony to showcase new HD network cameras at IFSEC 2010
IFSEC 2010 is only a couple weeks away, and that means it's time for another slew of exciting new IP camera product announcements. Sony will be at this hugely popular UK security conference showing off a fresh batch of HD network cameras, including the SNC-DH180 network camera with IR illuminator, and the SNC-DH240 with innovative View-DR technology. Both cameras provide HD-quality video, which is a key focus for Sony and many manufacturers heading to the IFSEC event.
HDTV network cameras are best-suited for surveillance applications where outstanding image quality and full frame rate are top priorities. These cameras provide extremely detailed video images that can be monitored on the latest state-of-the-art HD television screens, as well as standard computer monitors. The Sony SNC-DH180 comes equipped with a built-in IR illuminator to deliver clear video even in complete darkness. Both the SNC-DH180 and the Sony SNC-DH240 provide View-DR Wide Dynamic Range technology to handle extreme light conditions such as high-contrast, dark shadows, and direct sunlight.
