QNAP VioStor VS-8040 named New Product of the Year by Security Products Magazine
At last month's ASIS tradeshow in Anaheim, it was announced that Security Products Magazine had named the QNAP VioStor VS-8040 network video recorder as its "New Product of the Year." The QNAP VioStor VS-8040 is a high-performance video surveillance system that can record footage from up to 40 network cameras. It's the ideal solution for locations such as large office complexes, shopping centers, and manufacturing facilities. With the VioStor VS-8040, each video channel can have its own monitoring parameters, including motion-sensitive recording, scheduled recording, and alarm recording. The NVR also incorporates advanced video analytics allowing for fast searching by foreign object detection, object removal detection, and obstruction of the camera. Operators can also search video by time and date, motion event, or timeline.
