QNAP announces new rack-mounted NVR models
QNAP Security has added some new product offerings to its lineup of high-performance network video recorders. The QNAP VS-4016U-RP, VS-8024U-RP, and VS-8032U-RP rack-mounted NVR are designed for high-resolution video recording, mass storage capacity, and real-time monitoring. Each NVR supports M-JPEG, MPEG-4, MxPEG, and H.264 video compression, and offers compatibility with over 300 IP network camera models from a lengthy list of top brands.
The QNAP VS-4016U-RP is a complete network surveillance solution that supports 16-channel megapixel recording. With 4 SATA hard drives, it offers up to 8TB storage capacity. The VS-8024U-RP is a powerful and reliable standalone network video recorder that can handle 24-channel recording, while the VS-8032U-RP supports 32 channels. Each NVR offers a wide range of sophisticated surveillance features, including multiple compression technologies, the ability to handle megapixel video, smart search for quick IP camera configuration, remote PTZ control, and intelligent video analytics. For large-scale surveillance operations, the network video recorders can also cascaded to other QNAP NVR servers for monitoring of up to 120 IP cameras.
