Panasonic reveals new H.264 megapixel IP cameras

Published by Dan on March 30, 2010 4:09 PM

Panasonic is the latest in a long list of IP camera manufacturers releasing new models that promise HD picture quality. The new Panasonic lineup includes megapixel fixed network cameras, and mini-dome H.264 cameras, each boasting i-Pro Smart HD high-performance features.

Along with delivering smooth, high-resolution video footage, these cameras provide a number of advanced functions, including face detection analytics, low-light sensitivity, and bandwidth and energy efficiency. The Panasonic i-Pro WV-SP300 is a fixed camera, while the i-Pro WV-SP300 is the mini-dome model. Both offer megapixel resolution and HD picture quality, and use H.264 compression to stream high-resolution video at reduced file sizes. This allows you to take full advantage of the impressive video quality while optimizing available bandwidth and storage space.

The new Panasonic network cameras were introduced last week at ISC West. The Panasonic i-Pro WV-SP300 box camera will be available in June, 2010, while the Panasonic i-Pro WV-SF300 mini-dome will be available in July.
