OnSSI Ocularis software garners ASIS Accolades award
ASIS International announced that OnSSI's Ocularis video management software has been chosen as one of 10 winners in the 2009 ASIS Accolades competition. The software was recognized for its innovation in managing physical security information. More than 130 entries were evaluated by a panel of end users and security experts before the top 10 winners were selected.
OnSSI Ocularis is an open-architecture video management platform that allows viewing, recording, and management of an unlimited number of IP cameras and analog surveillance cameras. The software is designed to be user-friendly, and is also easily scalable for enterprise-level surveillance applications. As an intelligent IP video platform, Ocularis aims to be a catalyst for the convergence between security and IT. The software provides advanced, unified client applications for video detection, analysis delivery, and response. Along with the ASIS accolades, Ocularis has also been recognized recently with a 2009 Frost and Sullivan Excellence in Best Practices Award.
