VidSys has teamed up with On-Net Surveillance Systems (OnSSI) to develop an intelligent solution for physical security management. The new system enables customers to quickly and effectively analyze and respond to security events as they happen. It combines OnSSI's IP Video Surveillance System Management Solution with the VidShield platform.
OnSSI recently released ProSight-SMB 6.0, an IP video surveillance platform geared towards small and medium sized businesses. The new software solution is available in 4, 6, 9, 16, and 25 camera license packages. It provides tools for remote video monitoring and post-event investigation, for instance digital pan, tilt, and zoom into recorded video images. Video footage is accessible over the Web or a Local Area Network (LAN) via NetGuard video client.
OnSSI is introducing a new IP video surveillance management solution at ASIS 2008. It's called Ocularis. Designed for large-scale surveillance applications, Ocularis IP video software offers a unique user interface that provides easy and innovative camera control and video management, plus limitless scalability.
ASIS International announced that OnSSI's Ocularis video management software has been chosen as one of 10 winners in the 2009 ASIS Accolades competition. The software was recognized for its innovation in managing physical security information. More than 130 entries were evaluated by a panel of end users and security experts before the top 10 winners were selected.
The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) has installed an IP video solution from OnSSI to manage a large-scale surveillance network monitoring multiple sites. The IP surveillance system provides video security for the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center, the MassMutual Center, and the Boston Common Garage. It uses a suite of OnSSI IP video products built around the NetDVMS enterprise-level video management system.
It wasn't difficult for OnSSI to put on a software demonstration at the recent 2009 ASIS International conference in Anaheim. That's because the Anaheim Convention Center, which hosted the event, is already using the OnSSI Ocularis DS IP video management platform to manage its large-scale video surveillance network.
