MOBOTIX R8 IP cameras offer eight GB of built-in storage
MOBOTIX is pushing the envelope once again. This time, the megapixel camera specialists have introduced a new series of IP cameras that carry a significant amount of built-in storage. The Mobotix RB version IP cameras have eight gigabytes of built-in solid state storage, making them ideal for mobile surveillance and rapid deployment situations when external storage isn't a viable option. Think of temporary surveillance in a high crime area, for instance.
What also makes MOBTIX R8 cameras unique is the fact that the video management system actually runs inside the camera. This means the cameras can not only store days' worth of video footage and snapshots internally, but users can search and playback those images remotely.
Available MOBOTIX R8 camera models include the M12D-Sec-DNight-D22N22-R8, M12D-Sec-DNight-D43N43-R8, M12D-Sec-DNight-D135N135-R8, M12D-Sec-D22D135-R8, Mx-D12Di-Sec-R8, and M22M-Sec-R8. Each camera is IP65 rated and suitable for outdoor use in harsh conditions without the need for an enclosure.
