Milestone XProtect Go gives you a free pass into the world of IP video management
Milestone Systems has released a free version of its popular XProtect software platform. It's called Milestone Xprotect Go, and you can now pick it up as a free download from the Milestone Systems website. XProtect Go offers a wide set of features and allows users to view and manage up to 8 security cameras. The software is easy to use, and serves as the perfect startup solution for small business and home surveillance applications.
With XProtect Go, a single user can view live camera feeds in real-time, and quickly search through recorded video. Surveillance footage can be archived for up to five days, and can also be exported for longer-term storage.
This free software package gives new users the chance to explore the many benefits of IP-based video surveillance. Since there's no initial investment, users can try out the software, see if it's to their liking, and then easily upgrade to fuller versions of Milestone XProtect should they require more advanced functionality.
