Milestone XProtect Device Pack 4.5 now available with updated support for new and existing devices
Milestone has released the XProtect Device Pack 4.5, which offers support for new devices, and updated support for existing devices on XProtect video management systems. The Device Pack 4.5 is valid for XProtect Basis, Basis +, Professional, Enterprise, Matrix, and XProtect Corporate software platforms.
For users of Milestone XProtect Enterprise, Professional, and Basis +, the software is compatible with a laundry list of new devices from the following manufacturers: ACTi, Dedicated Micros, HikVision, Honeywell, Messoa, Pelco, Sony and VideoIQ. While XProtect Corporate offers support for new devices from ACTi, Apro, Honeywell, Messoa, Panasonic, Pelco, Sony and VideoIQ.
Examples of specific improvements include transparent PTZ protocol on Opteelcom devices, audio support for a number of new Panasonic IP cameras, as well as audio out support for new Samsung Techwin cameras. The Device Pack also offers improved joystick control for Canon VB-C devices.
