Milestone XProtect Corporate 2.0 offers support for large-scale surveillance applications
Milestone Systems has released the latest incarnation of its XProtect Corporate video management software solution. Milestone XProtect Corporate 2.0 is designed for large-scale video surveillance applications. The software supports an unlimited number of security cameras, servers and users, and offers central control and intuitive access clients that simplify the process of managing big installations.
Milestone XProtect is an open platform IP video software. It allows for flexible management of wide-spread surveillance installation and provides convenient tools such as setup wizards, automatic network scanning and camera detection, and tight integration to IT environments. The software integrates with Microsoft Active Directory to deliver strict user authorization, while storing activity logs and alerts in an SQL database.
The Milestone XProtect Smart Client user interface makes it easy to access live and recorded video footage at any time. Multiple operators can also view the footage simultaneously from different locations without straining network resources. The software's scalability makes it ideal for large installations with the potential for expansion.
