Milestone XProtect Analytics 2.1 coming soon

Milestone Systems has announced the upcoming releases of XProtect Analytics 2.1, a framework that allows integration of multiple video content analysis (VCA) systems from different manufacturers all operating within a single user interface. With XProtect Analytics 2.1, operators can instantly display, search and compare alerts from multiple video analytics systems.

The XProtect Analytics 2.1 framework can support server-based video analytics, on-camera analytics, and also library-based VCA systems hosted within Milestone software. Key improvements in version 2.1 include support for Bosch IVA devices, and performance-enhanced Smart Client plugin.

Milestone XProtect Analytics 2.1 is set for release on April 6, 2010. The software and release notes will be available in the MilestoneSys.com download section.
