Milestone releases XProtect Device Pack 4.6 with updated device support
Milestone Systems has announced the availability of its XProtect Device Pack 4.6. The updated device pack offers additional support for new and existing network cameras and IP video devices on XProtect Enterprise, Professional, Basis +, and XProtect Corporate video management platforms.
The list of new devices supported by the XProtect platform includes the latest offerings from such manufacturers as Axis, Honeywell, IQEye, Panasonic, Sony, Vivotek, Sanyo, and VideoIQ. Notable feature enhancements include support new firmware on a variety of devices, support for H.264 video compression on Arecont Vision AV8185 and AV8365 IP cameras, and I/O support for Arecont Vision devices. The release also solves issues related to the previous Device Pack 4.5.
