JVC VN-V685U network camera delivers 360-degree continuous rotation and PoE
JVC has expanded it V.Networks IP camera lineup with the release of the JVC VN-V685U PTZ camera. JVC is claiming that the VN-V685U is the first PTZ network camera with Power over Ethernet and continuous 360-degree rotation. The camera's 360-degree panning capabilities are provided by an ultra smooth direct drive motor. The VN-V685U also features 27x optical zoom for detailed surveillance of faraway individuals and objects.
Power to the camera is delivered via a standard Ethernet cable, allowing for quick, flexible installation. The continuous 360-degree rotation provides fast and precise camera operation with a speed range of 0.04 to 400 degree per second, along with 100 preset positions. And since the direct drive motor is silent, the camera is a very quiet and discreet surveillance solution.
Other highlights of the JVC V685U network camera include a progressive scan CCD sensor, intelligent auto tracking, and simultaneous MPEG-4 and M-JPEG streaming.
