JVC VN-V26U and JVC VN-V686U network cameras on display at ISC West 2008

JVC rolled out two new IP cameras this week at ISC West in Las Vegas. The JVC VN-V26U is a flexible day/night camera with two-way audio and simultaneous MJPEG and MPEG-4 compression, while the VN-V686U is a powerful and versatile PTZ dome designed for indoor surveillance applications.

Because of its 1/4-inch progressive scan CCD sensor, the VN-V26U network camera delivers clear and sharp images with true colors, even when objects in the frame are moving steadily. The camera also includes a built-in microphone and speaker jack for bi-directional audio communication. Other highlights of the VN-V26U include an IR cut filter for day/night operation, a wide dynamic range, and Power over Ethernet.

The VN-V686U uses JVC's powerful direct drive motor technology for fast and accurate pan/tilt/zoom operation. The camera also maintains preset camera positions assigned by the operator. The JVC VN-V686U delivers clear images with a 1/4-inch CCD imager, 36x optical zoom, simultaneous MJPEG and MPEG-4 streams, and low-light sensitivity down to 0.04 lux.
