IndigoVision introduces new line of high-definition IP cameras

IndigoVision has just added a new collection of high-definition IP cameras to its product line. The IndigoVision HD 10000 series IP cameras use H.264 compression, a new technology that makes it possible for the cameras to stream high-definition video at fast frame rates, while allowing for greater amounts of storage. H.264 video compression is an improvement over previous compression technologies, and more and more manufacturers are beginning to release H.264 camera offerings.

The aim of the HD 1000 camera line is to bring the benefits of high-definition video to common video surveillance applications. IndigoVision also plans on rolling out high-definition versions of each IP camera type in its current product line, including indoor and outdoor PTZ domes, fixed network cameras, and IP66 vandal-proof IP cameras.
