Published by Amelia on July 30, 2010 4:28 PM

ExacqVision recently released version 4.2 of their video management software. ExacqVision’s software provides a cost-effective option for recording and managing video from IP cameras. A popular video management system, the latest release of the software is compatible with all ExacqVision hybrid and IP video surveillance solutions as well as a wide range of IP network cameras and encoders from other manufacturers. With Version 4.2, several manufacturers had their cameras added to the list of those IP cameras compatible with the software.

The complete line of Sanyo High definition IP cameras is now supported by ExacqVision. The Sanyo IP cameras include ten different models of box, PTZ and zoom, and vandal-resistant cameras. These cameras all have full HD resolution at H.264 compression as well as MJPEG modes up to 4 MP.

The latest version of software also supports the latest 8000 series of cameras from Vivotek. The cameras all have H.264 compression along with MJPEG and MPEG-4 modes.

Also compatible now are the latest HD IP cameras from Sony. All of the new Sony models are 720P or 1080P, and they all feature MPEG-4 and MJPEG compression.
