Cisco has added a new IP camera to its growing lineup of network video products. As its name suggests, the Cisco Small Business PVC300 Pan Tilt Optical Zoom Internet Camera is geared towards small business owners in need of a flexible video security solution. This feature-rich network camera offers full pan/tilt/zoom control. Users can access the camera and even control its PTZ functions remotely via the internet.

The Cisco PVC300 provides a number of advanced features, including sophisticated security, monitoring and alerting capabilities for intelligent video surveillance. The camera allows you to integrate alarms, door sensors, motion detectors seamlessly into your video security solution. The camera can be viewed from any PC or mobile phone with internet access. It can also be set up to deliver automated alerts (including video clips and stills) when motion is detected after hours.
The PVC300 includes IP video software that makes it easy to install and begin using the system. With the included software, you can monitor and manage up to 16 network cameras. It also makes it easy to quickly search archived video footage by time, date, and incident.
Other notable features of the Cisco Small Business PVC300 include Power over Ethernet, IP multicast support, two-way audio, and I/O ports for easy integration with other systems.
