Cisco announces wireless PTZ network camera

Cisco has added to its series of business surveillance products with the release of the Linksys WVC210. The WVC210 (or Wireless-G PTZ Internet Camera with Audio) is geared towards small business users and comes bundled with sophisticated video monitoring software. The camera mounts on a desktop or wall-mount and enables small business owners to remotely monitor video and audio, and also receive real-time email alerts triggered by motion detection.

The Linksys by Cisco WVC210 is ideal for video monitoring of high traffic/high value areas such as front lobbies, point-of-sale areas, main entryways, and loading docks. It offers enhanced low-light performance for nighttime use, and monitoring in dimly lit locations such as warehouses and offices after hours.

The camera also includes LBAVMS16 video monitoring software, which supports simultaneous monitoring and recording, and can manage up to 16 network cameras.
