Bosch ZX55 IP camera offers around-the-clock surveillance for critical security applications
Bosch has released a new IP camera built to capture clear and detailed video images in difficult nighttime conditions. The Bosch ZX55 features a 9 to 90mm varifocal infrared-corrected lens for flexible video surveillance installations. Using Bosch's proprietary Black Diamond infrared technology, the camera delivers low-noise nighttime imaging up to 300 meters. This allows the ZX55 to provide outstanding long-range detail even after darkness falls.
With its rugged, all-weather housing, the Bosch ZX55 is a reliable solution for a variety of outdoor surveillance applications, including perimeter surveillance and critical asset monitoring. The camera is IP68/NEMA4-rated for outdoor operation in harsh weather conditions. It can withstand strong winds, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures.
Another key attribute of the ZX55 IP camera is a powerful processor for on-board Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA). This enables the camera to monitor scene activity and flag specific user-defined events such as alarms. The ZX55 also features a tri-stream video encoder that can deliver MPEG-4 and MJPEG video streams over an IP network at up to 30 frames per second in full resolution. Tri-stream encoding allows for simultaneous deliver of multiple streams to meet varying needs in terms of image quality and storage efficiency.
