Bosch unveils 700 Series NVR and hybrid DVRs
Bosch just announced a new series of NVRs and DVRs designed for applications using a mix analog CCTV cameras and IP network cameras. The Bosch 700 Series Hybrid Recorder supports up to 16 analog cameras and 16 IP cameras, while the 700 Series Network Recorder is an all-in-one IP video solution that supports up to 32 IP cameras with H.264 compression.
Both devices allow for management of IP camera profiles and assorted recording functions. The systems provide fully automated device discovery and assignment, plus built-in setup wizards for easy installation. They're also scalable should you need to add additional storage capacity (up to 120 terabytes). The recorders use H.264 compression to reduce video files sizes, saving up to 30 percent more storage space than previous compression technologies. A Smart Search feature saves time by searching for motion only within selected areas of the recorded video footage.
