Bosch introduces Video Recorder 400 all-in-one video management solution
Bosch is releasing a new, easy-to-use video management solution geared towards small-scale surveillance applications such as shops, retail stores and pharmacies. The Bosch Video Recorder 400 is simple to setup right out of the box. All you have to do is connect your cameras and power and the unit is able to automatically begin recording. With its built-in web viewer, users can monitor cameras remotely, play back archived footage, and even configure and control their cameras from afar. And in the event of an alarm, the system's video manager will instantly send out an automated email alert.
To lower the amount of bandwidth and storage needed, the Bosch Video Recorder 400 Series offers H.264 video compression, a cutting-edge technology that significantly reduces video file sizes. The recorder can store for 30 days, or longer depending on your settings. Recording rate and quality settings are individually configurable per channel for increased flexibility. Other key features include simultaneous live multi-screen viewing, "Smart Search" playback functions, and pan/tilt/zoom camera control.
